Sebastians Action Trust app for iPhone and iPad

Dear parents,

Welcome to the Trust’s first App which has been designed exclusively for your use, to give you a place to seek information and guidance as well as connect with others who walk in similar shoes. The content you will find here will be largely determined by you, our beneficiaries- it is a private, safe and accessible space for you to follow the threads you find of interest and to contribute as you see fit. We know how important it is to facilitate our ‘family of families’ and this is just one of the many ways in which you can not only benefit from our services but also share support and guidance to others who may be seeking reassurance or advice from those who know from personal experience.

As Sebastian’s mummy, I know how much I came to rely on the friendship and camaraderie of other parents going through similar challenges throughout my son’s illness; at times it felt like these people were the only ones who truly understood what we were experiencing. We at Sebastian’s Action Trust are proud to say we are ‘here- always’ for you but acknowledge that at times it is more valuable for you to connect with others and this is a tool to help you make those introductions where you cannot meet in person. We hope you will find this App informative, helpful and a window into the outside world when you are feeling isolated from all that you cannot access.
